Bible Fellowship Group
Bible Fellowship Group, or BFG, is a place where you can share your life with others...the good times, the tough times, and the times in between. BFG is a safe place where we share a snack while visiting with one another. We also have Bible discussions about real and relevant topics. And maybe have some fun too.
We have BFG's for all ages!
We understand this may be new to you. That's ok because it was new to all of us at one time!
Come and join us Sunday at 9:30 AM !!!!!!
We are a congregation that believes in prayer and we want to be known as a people of prayer. The Prayer Ministry at Highland Heights is the cornerstone for the various ministries at our church. At Highland Heights, prayer is not an option but rather an essential part of daily living. We encourage Christians to seek the Lord in prayer above all else, and teach them to develop their own personal prayer lives.
Christian servanthood is given to us by example throughout the entire Bible revealing a wonderful lifestyle filled with blessings and opportunities to see lives changed as never seen before. Serving our brothers and sisters in our church and also serving those in our community are important parts of our church ministry. God can use your gifts and skills to make a difference. There are several ways you can put your gifts to work at Highland Heights Baptist no matter you skills and passions in life. Throughout the week, Throughout the year we are on mission with God---Serving!
Young At Heart
Young at Heart also know as "The Lunch Bunch". Although all are welcome, this group is mostly for the "Young at Heart". We meet the first Thursday of the month at 11:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall for lunch and entertainment. Outings, short trips and other social events are also sponsored by this group.
World Wide Missions
Jesus commanded us to preach the Gospel to all the earth. From the streets of our own city to the other side of the world, Highland Heights missions ministry works to do just that. From inner-city block parties and Bible clubs to missions support in far-away countries, you can get involved at Highland Heights in spreading the Good News throughout the world. We begin at our own addresses here in Memphis with intentional outreach through our church, and also partnering with sister churches to impact our community, our county, our country and the world. A Cambodian Mission Church has been a part of Highland Heights for over twenty years. The Cambodian people living in Memphis are reaching their people here and also taking the gospel to their families and friends in Cambodia. We support Aaron Choate and his family who are missionaries with Wycliffe Bible Translators. The Choate family serve the Lavukal people of the Solomon Islands through Bible translation.
